Les and Co. were definitely going to have to open up the offense to a degree this year.

Regardless of the lack of personnel for the job we had for the last few years. If he continued to run an extremely conservative offense, the best QBs and WRs weren't going to come to LSU and waste away. I'm sure he's already promising a different offense to get Rettig and Jennings here.

Mett would not have given us a win 1/9 but it would have been much easier to watch.

How about you and everyone else just wait for a few games into the season and see what he can really do?
All of the BS pratice reports and internet circle jerk stuff means nothing.

We wouldn't even throw those before.

If we are still throwing them after his second interception I will be pleasantly surprised.

There were 3 pass plays that if we had an accurate throw, it would have been a td in that title game. The fact that JJ checked down to the backs so much or had to scrabble was explained in Coach Stud's presser. JJ and JL were not able or willing to throw passes in tight spots.

Why? What else do you have to do today that this thread is keeping you from? I'll never understand the posters who want to limit conversation, esp in the offseason. Besides, do you think any post on this website is going to change the world?

If Mett can live up to half of what they are hyping him to be then I don't know what I will do when I see him hit a receiver, in stride, for a TD

we had some terrible QB's the past 4 years
When you saw Terrance Tolliver throw up his hands in disgust, Demetrius Byrd go off in the press, and Rueben Randle leaving early, that tells you pretty much all you need to know.
