Camp starts tomorrow. Yet not a mention of our starting QB on pg 1 of the Rant?

I’m sure Bolden will do a sufficient job warming the bench but let us not shift our excitement from our exciting starting QB.
I'm ready to hear some great reports of Mett making accurate passes, reading defenses, assuming leadership on the field, not pouting after mistakes, not blame shifting, and not getting in bar fights.
Here is to a great season getting started with a great athlete at the helm.

One of the more positive things to come out of Bolden joing the team is going to be that hes going to get a good deal of the buzz in camp being from the whole Penn State ordeal. I think this is going to be great for Mett not having to deal with as much media pressure and realizing that he can just relax and focus in on getting the little things right not having someone breathing down his neck.
Metts going to enjoy camp and develop some great leadership and confidence he has one more guy behind him to help if needed.

The Mett lovefest has been in full swing for quite a while. The Bolden story is new hence all the attention. Mett has been waiting patiently for his turn and hopefully he'll play his butt off this season!
ETA: I like the addition of Bolden, it's nice to have a backup with some experience should Mett get injured or leave after a breakout junior season. Not to mention the added competition should have Mett's full attention and push him even harder.

I just hope that LES does NOT get an itchy trigger finger and yank Mett because of a few struggles.

The precedent Miles set on 1/9 leads me to believe we could suffer because of that itchy trigger finger of his.

He seems to be more the "lover" type in bars than the "fighter" type.
Mett should be just fine. He's been with the team 18 mons, got to take notes all last season, got to get his feet wet without being thrown into the deep end of the pool before he was ready, and has no one calling for his head yet.
He's a had a nice, long honeymoon.
It's his time and I think he will answer the call as we all want.
