After listening to Dr. Mark Emmert’s press conference this morning, his assertion that a balance between academics and athletics (specifically Penn State Football) did not exist previously is baseless and intellectually dishonest. It is with great pride that the members of our Club know that we have done it the “right way” for several decades and we will not allow Dr. Emmert’s careless remarks to tarnish the legacy of Penn State Football.
I think the child rape and cover up has already taken care of the legacy tarnishing.

One of these freaks was on SportsCenter earlier and said basically all of this. These people are beyond help.

yea, it's Emmert's punishments that are tarnishing Penn State's legacy.
They are fricking insane.

my opinion will be very unpopular, but anyways, these penalties are insane. i fully understand the reasons behind them, but man, there are going to be a lot of innocent people who suffer...

And people wonder why a message of a culture change needed to be sent. These people are crazy.

"Emmerts careless remarks"
He glazed-over the fact that your coach was raping boys in the shower and that everyone in a position of power did a full cover-up to keep the info from getting out.
This cover-up allowed the pedofile rapist to continue on for years. We're sickened by it and I will never forget it, yet I couldn't tell you one word Emmert said and I watched his whole speech.

These douche bags still don't get it. And all those posters worried about expanded "jurisdiction" of the NCAA are almost as retarded. This is one of the most vile scandals in American history. These myopic fools worried about football or the NCAA power just don't get it.
