what are they? With teams knowing about the dangers of kicking to him, I think we see a bit less from him in the return game.

But defensively, will he be 'johnny-on-the-spot' as much as this year?

I think so. He was showing flashes of this his freshman year. His motivation appears to be pretty high.

He seemed to play better last season when he was not being pumped up by the media.

He started the season on fire, got attention, his head got big, got suspended, was a non-factor against Bama, and people started ripping on him. He got mad, and then ended the season on a tear. He went to NYC for the Heisman and then got picked on badly in the NCG.

I didn't think there was any chance going in to last year that he could duplicate what he did as a freshman. All he did was become a Heisman finalist. I won't bet against him.

I'll say..atleast.... 70 tackles, 3 FF, 2 FR, 3 ints, 5 sacks.... Those seem reasonable. And I'll say he has atleast 3 total tds

4 passes I think, and a couple of them were pretty much perfect and indefensible. I wouldn't give too much credence to BammerNation talk. If the weather isn't fair, they'll disappear anyhow.

Guys I don't want to put a damper on yalls parade but instead of the last 2 games of the regular season he was a below average punt returner. People will not be scared to punt to him

I hope that's the case.

He didn't put up big return yards, but he showed flashes of his great juking ability even when 2-3 guys were on him as soon as he got the ball. If the blocks are there, he can get solid returns. Can't expect much if guys are on him as soon as the ball gets there

I do remember at the beginning of the season begging for les to put someone else back there on punt returns but then he broke out on them.

I say

65 tackles
10 TFL
3 sacks
4 FF
4 picks

He's now a leader. I think he will be up to the challenges being a leader on one of the few teams seriously considered to challenge for the national championship.

He has great reflexes, and body control.

He will tip balls, recover fumbles, cause fumbles, and generally be a fast smart football player. He will also get shoved around by 6 3 220 receivers sometimes. All in all, pretty damn good.

LSU fans, above all, should not buy into the myth that HB got exploited on1/9/12'.
Four passes were completed and on each he was in good position to defend. Those were perfect passes and exceptional catches, mostly right on the sidelines.
This MYTH needs to be questioned whenever it is repeated, usually by Gumps.

I know he will be better than he was last year.

Basically all the negative talk from 1/9 will be motivation for all players and coaches. Nuff said. If they lose or get burned it won't be because of what any writers say.
