As much as I hate this word, it perfectly describes it.

I'm not even a huge batman fan, and I hate that word as well, but I agree.

I'll take the title change as a "yes"

Just to be safe:

***SPOILERS***

Does anyone else think Bruce actually didn't survive, and that was Alfred seeing what he wanted to see, since he mentioned always hoping to see Bruce in Italy, married, potentially with a family? If so, it's still a fricking awesome way to end it. And I loved the Bale/Hathaway dynamic. They worked incredibly well together on screen

Africkingmazing. The perfect ending to this saga. Beautifully done. Batman wasn't even in maybe a third of the movie and it was still great. The most emotionally gripping of the trilogy by far.

Not a ten, it wasn't better than Dark Knight and a lot of the movie seemed pretty slow.

Awesome movie. But I still think The Dark Knight was better.

Holy gaping plot holes, Batman!

Quick thoughts:

I really wanted to love this, but it's a mess of a movie. The 3rd act problems of BB and TDK percolate early in this film and nearly swallow the first half. Things happen for no reason, as do character motivations. It has an almost incompressible narrative and structure, Bane's plan makes no sense, and its heavy-handed, false sense of profundity got on my nerves. How anyone can make a nearly 3 hour Batman movie and make it feel rushed is beyond me.

Way too many characters that unnecessarily bloat the film and make it feel like a bad Russian novel. It was a frustrating movie to me, because there is a great one lost somewhere. It's a mindbogglingly messy movie, albeit with some cool set peices; it seems like they went one round with the script and shot it. I'd go as far to say it's Nolan's worst film.
