With both teams loaded again this season what are the odds we could see another title game rematch?? Lets say no other team is deserving. Lets say the nov game is another nailbiter and thats the only loss either team suffers. Will the voters leave out the loser just out of spite?? I feel theres a good chance it could happen again, thoughts?

No way it happens, even if it's the best match up.

Voters will down vote the #2 team just so it won't happen.

As long as we win this time, I think it'd be awesome.

as with most such questions, we dont have enough data yet.

if its a close game, perhaps OT, then the case could be made that a one loss loser might actually be the 2nd best team.

so much will depend on how Oklahoma and USCw and Oregon do.

There are some eastern teams that dont have to play tough schedules. if one of them went undefeated, they would get a shot vs our supposed undefeated SEC champ.

No way in hell. Voters saw what a frickup the first time was. Even if it plays out the exact same the voter, I think , are going to vote the other non SEC team in.

I think it could happen if it means getting Bama in again. Not for lsu. But there'd have to really be no better options. (such as a 1 loss big 12 champ with higher strength of schedule and the most explosive offense in the country).

It might happen if we beat Bama again in a tough game, but there's not a chance in hell we would get the same courtesy if we lost a tough game at home. #doublestandard

The game had the lowest rating of any BCS NG.

Why? Don't know for certain but my guess would be because one team didn't win their division of the conference or the conference, yet they get a pass to play in the NG. We beat Bama on the road and that win got very little recognition looking back on it.

Like an earlier poster said, the media would not let that happen again IMO.

All the other major contenders would have to have two losses for this to happen.

Lsu and Alabama again for the title match? Only if we lose in November against a young team at home by a margin of three.

Wont happen. Outside of the south, nobody in America enjoyed the NC game.

If we win in BR there still is a shot. If we lose in BR, there is no way in hell they let it happen, even though the let it happen last season.

It will be hard for Bama to reach the NCG with 2 losses.

I see Arky beating them this year as well as LSU

This thread has nothing to do with how many losses you think Bama will have. The hypothetical situation was that out of LSU and bama the only loss either has is to the other in nov.
