There's been many threads about the Bluegrass Miracle, but I'd love to hear what it was like to actually be in the stadium for it. There's got to be some interesting stories.

I was there. Flew to Cincy & drove down. We dominated that game then got real conservative late as they rallied back.
After they took the lead at the end, my phone was blowing up from my friends back in Atlanta prior to the last play. They had a delay from what I was seeing live. They said I can't believe y'all blew this lead. I said well, we have one more play. When the miracle was completed I was screaming & yelling, "You aren't going to bleve what just happened, we just won this game"
Of course they got it abt 5 seconds later & were just as shocked too. The funny part was everyone in my section just jumped on everyone else & I'm standing talking on the cell & there wasn't one LSU fan w/in 10 feet of me. They just dove in onto people all over from me in different directions. It is w/o a doubt the most unbelievable thing I've ever witnessed before.

Good God. I'm waiting for someone to admit that they left the stadium when UK made the field goal and missed the play.

I wasn't there but I still have a VCR tape of the game on the bookshelf in my office (even though I no longer have a VCR player).

title of this thread is bait for some idiot to mention Jack Hunt. Happens in every thread about this game. It's old and worn out, and not even funny.

Wait. Did you just take the bait, while simultaneously dissing on the bait takers?

SIHSWYDT?

Mind blown.

Nope. Not one single person was there. The video of people storming the field was added in afterward

I was there had to go down out of our seats because UK fans were getting so bad I thought the LSU section was going to have to fight to get out of the place. Went down and some Huge guy called me and my wife LSU Pus*&^ and that was it almost got in fight right before the last play and walked out had to go to Damons sports bar to see the replay.

I listened to it live on a Kentucky radio station.

The Kentucky players did everything they needed to do to win. LSU did not earn the win - did not deserve it - and I did not want it.

I remain embarrassed.
