I've flat out started telling the person "bullshite" when they say that nonsense.

If I ever need to hide something extremely valuable, I'll hide it in the ice cream/shake machine at McDonald's. No one who works there will ever look.

It is basically just a chocolate ganache of some sort. Just tempered chocolate which hardens below a certain temperature. Google Chocolate Ganache The cold ice cream is the catalyst.*

*I almost failed chemistry a few times so this is not to be taken with biblical authority. But that is basically the transaction in a nutshell.

I was told by my Nanny that you have to dip the cone in the chocolate very fast, in order for the ice cream not to fall into the chocolate - but that when it falls, the dipper gets to eat it, so its not really a bad thing...Nanny doesn't work at McDonald's she worked at a "dairy queen" type place called Coco's about 45 years ago...

I don't think you want to know how Mcdonalds makes anything.

McDonalds has the best ice cream IMO and i cant believe a cone is only 170 calories. Im calling BS on that.

on a side note, anyone see that yahoo article last week about fast food secrets?

One dude who worked at McDonalds said that one time in the middle of the summer he accidently left a bag of frozen mcnuggets out on the counter in the back of the store and found it at the end of the day. he said that when he opened the back it was all liquid inside.

When i read that i almost threw up on the spot and i will never eat their chicken nuggets again. ill stick with Chick Fila

The water content from the ice? I used to work and mcdonald's and had a similar scenario and I promise you.. they didn't magically turn into liquid.

yeah i hear ya, i find it far fetched as well. Im sure the dude was playing it up for the yahoo story since he was unnamed.

I still dont trust whatever the hell is on the inside. I read where they have 27 ingredients or some shite like that

No doubt they're highly processed and terrible for you regardless.. but the shite you hear about McDonald's food is ridiculous When it comes to fast food, McDonald's is one of the easiest places to get a healthier option, believe it or not.
