Who becomes your team?

Hypothetical scenario- LSU stops playing football (ends the program, or something) After the stages of grieving, who do you root for and why? I could not pull for any other SEC team. It'd be like my dating my best friend's widow. I'd pull for Texas (lived there. Family were horns fans and u have to declare an allegiance. Plus, being 39, I had a hatred for aTm from the 80's) or Clemson (been there a number of times. Cool traditions. Has an SEC feel. Another level of football fan compared to rest of ACC) What say you ?

I could never actively support another college football team. I would funnel all of my energies into the NFL.

I love cfb not to adopt another. I am cfb through and through. I'm a braves fan and became a tiger baseball fan via the football team. Don't watch nba. Fair weathered lsu basketball fan. Don't have a dog in the nfl fight. (saints, a little). Cfb is the one addiction I don't think I could break.

if LSU stopped playing college football I would probably still watch it, but would never pull for another team through a full season. I would probably just always pull against SEC teams and ranked teams.

I'd probably stay in the SEC because it is where the best football in the nation is played (bias), but I'd probably pick between Vandy, UK, or Tennessee. If I had to pick outside of the SEC, I would say Michigan

Obviously I wouldn't put nearly as much time into it, but I think it'd probably pick a few teams to root for. I've always liked Texas, Miami, and Michigan
