On Ryan Anderson's Potential - Do Most-Improved Players Keep Improving?
Good write-up over on 247 analyzing the past 12 Most-Improved Player award recipients and how they fared throughtout their careers. The article looks into the players' stats before and after their MIP year to see certain trends.

247 continues to do work.
Why isn't there a Saints blog this thorough?
42? Seems like there'd be a niche for Saints247.

Saints247.net
Clearly run by different people and an awful blog. Gets updated once every couple months or so.

In fact, there's still a picture of Reggie at the top of the homepage.

Run by some of the same people.
I am not involved.
I care too much about the boys.
I'd end up dead, frankly.
Look for something ... happifying ... non-player-related ... soon.

RA will be awesome, but do you guys really think he can play the 3 or should we stick with aminu?

I say stick with Aminu. He seems to be shooting decently in the Olympic Trials and that experience will be good for him. He is a good to great defender and an outstanding rebounder.

Thanks for posting this! It was a fun piece to write.
Anderson's doesn't have the lateral quickness or athleticism to guard most wing players, and he's not great at putting the ball on the floor offensively. I think it's far more likely that he plays a decent amount of center (think Mehmet Okur style) with Davis staying at the 4 and Aminu at the 3.

I don't know if he came up with this on his own or after talking to Demps and Monty, but in his interview he talked about having more talents besides just being a shooter and that low post play was his bread and butter in college and he was looking forward to working on that.

Very interesting.
If so, then the idea of him being a 5 on defense and 4 on offense, and vice-versa for Davis, may be the plan.
