I jsut find it hard to believe (and don't) that R. Jefferson has a "saved" spot" when you consider that there are elite players in positons of need we could still be in the hunt for...
Sooo, if it comes down to a last slot and it's between a decommitted R. Nkemediche, for example, and RJ, RJ gets the nod?
Les is going to do the best thing for the program, and that almost always means going for a clearly better recruit.

Les will make room for both if that is the scenario. Just like we have seen in the past, there is attrition, non-qualifiers, decommits, etc that will give us some flexibility.

Of course you are correct. BTW, you see some people saying "making room" and acting like the 85 limit is the problem talking about attrition, etc. The 85 limit is NOT the problem here. The REAL problem is what the SEC did about 2 years ago when S Carolina and Ole Miss and Alabama to a lesser degree were signing 28 to 30 to 33 players and making the conference look foolish! The SEC put in the ALMOST loophole free 25 signee limit. Thus, you can't FUDGE the numbers anymore to any degree. If you could, we know that little Nicky would not have looked like a scumbag last year when he had to dump 2 guys on signing day and that was very bad publicity for him. Soooo, anyone who honestly believes that a good WR has a saved spot at LSU is living in the past. 3 years ago I would have definitely agreed...not any more. They can't afford to take non-qualifiers and also can't afford to gamble on NSD decisions unless they are under 25 to begin with.
