You're exactly right. Not sure why I am too surprised. Being that it was 4 years ago, I assumed people were over it. But then again, it's still the rant

The eye stomping did annoy me, though.
Same here.

One of the loudest moments I've ever heard in Tiger Stadium was early in that game on Florida's first possession when they were inside their own 10.

i think the boo's at the end, were louder than the cheers

Well, Tebow was quite an annoying character back then. I love him as an NFL player, but sweet Jesus he aggravated the living shite out of me at UF with all that girly immature arm-waving bullshite.

Yea that was an awesome moment, but I don't like remembering the end. The tailgating before this game was the crunkas I have ever seen it!!!

Florida 2007 was better IMO

Quite electric moment you have there.

Couldn't have said it better.

I almost fell asleep at that game. Seriously!

I was on the field with Tiger Band for this game and even though I was only 10 yards in front of the drumline, I couldn't hear them. Easily the loudest pre-game I've ever been a part of.

It's still amazing to me that LSU fans can reminise so fondly over a pre-game non-fight for one of the worst games in recent LSU football history. That was a demoralizing loss to say the least regardless of our great d holding down Timmy T and his great o down that night. Our offensive performance was so abyssmal it more than made up for that.
:Edit: I realize your comment had nothing to do with the game, but for me the game results completely wipe away any excitement about the pre-game hysteria. So to answer your question: no this does not still give me the chills. In fact it stopped giving me the chills as soon as I saw how our offensive game plan was playing out.

I got chills after reading the title of this thread because I immediately knew what you were talking about. frick the haters.
And I remember the feeling I had during that moment. That sense of pride when our players got in their faces for doing that bush league shite. I was jumping and screaming and pushed my buddy standing next to me and knocked over 3 people (student section so it was ok)

The game was hard to watch, because of how valiant our defense was, and how ridiculous our offense looked. But that moment was one of my favorite in TS, and the only word i could find in my vocabulary to describe the day and the environment around campus before the game is mystic

The point of this thread is to appreciate LSU fans as we are. When we are riding on a high, Tiger Stadium is a magical place. Seeing videos like this and how the players feed off the crowd and visa versa, just gets me so fired up.
If anyone else has videos like this, post'em up!

Is that the game where florida was stomping on the eye of the tiger during pregame? I was in Austin watching this. Wish Tebow wouldn't have played, but our D couldn't stop the inside run game and our O couldn't do shite against their defense.
