I went two years ago and parked at the First Baptist Church on Canal Blvd.

No affiliation with them before anyone asks and they didn't try to convert me for parking with them.

I think I paid $10 and their shuttle brings you as close as any city bus would get you. Hot as balls that year so the shuttle even had a cooler with free coke and water on the bus.

Ya'll picked a terrible night to host a fundraiser in New Orleans

It's usually not until mid-late April, but this year the administration moved it up to be closer to Family Day. Sucks, but it's what we have to work with

LSU Medical School Fundraiser

Calling OT Ballers,

This Friday night, the first year medical class at LSU will be hosting the annual Camp Tiger Benefit Auction at NOMA to raise money for Camp Tiger - a summer camp for kids with special needs in the NOLA/BR areas. In its 30th year, Camp Tiger and the Auction is organized and run solely by the first year class on top of all that studying, so come out and show your support. Auction items range from signed sports memorabilia, vacation packages, artwork, etc. Admission gets you the open buffet and open bar, and all proceeds go directly to the Camp Tiger fund.

www.camptiger.org

Tickets can be pre-ordered or purchased at the door.

What: Camp Tiger Benefit Auction
Where: New Orleans Museum of Art
When: Friday, March 28th - doors open at 7

Looks like Herg has a better idea of the assignment. It's for some marketing class at LSU and I was just trying to remember what my friend told me.
My friend is in a marketing class this semester and apparently they're working on a project with the Hornets marketing/PR people. He's not a big basketball fan so the other day he asked me to help him out.

Basically, they're asking if there's anything that you wish you knew more about the current Hornets organization or anything to do with the future Pelicans concept/organization. I gave him the obvious answers with new jerseys/court design, etc., but figured you guys might have some more thoughts.

TIA

So are y'all saying that basic DirecTV isn't getting the switch?

Anyone know what's up with DirecTV in Baton Rouge? I'm at an apartment just off campus, we get our cable via DirecTV, but channel 38 is still FSSW..?
I was on the field with Tiger Band for this game and even though I was only 10 yards in front of the drumline, I couldn't hear them. Easily the loudest pre-game I've ever been a part of.
New Orleans Buccaneers..?

It brings back the old ABA name and it keeps with some history in New Orleans, Jean Lafitte and his buccaneers. I could see this making sense, especially with the bicentennial of the war of 1812 being this year.

neither is the NBA

Try again. It may not have been street ball back when Jordan, Bird, etc. were playing, but have you watched a game recently? Take the referees away and I'm sure you couldn't tell the difference between NBA and street ball.
If we do end up drafting A. Davis, he needs to do something about that unibrow.
A friend of mine said that every Tiger fan sitting above the Bama student section should just bring rolls of toilet paper to throw on the students after LSU wins.

I laughed but I'm sure the dome will be pretty well divided by school even in the upper decks.

Video screen in Champions Square

Anyone know if they play the Saints home games on this screen? More importantly, will they be playing the playoff game in Champions Square on Saturday night?
Irvin was lacking last night. I'll definitely agree with that statement. How about that botched last note of the national anthem, eh?

Trombone Shorty and Rebirth Brass Band ftw

This.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks JJ has something on Miles

or maybe people love him because hes really good at basketball.

I agree with you. He is a very good basketball player. However, we've lost other (better) players and everybody was upset for a few weeks and then let it go. Why can't we do that with MT?
JR Smith isn't worth the baggage that he would come with and would probably butt heads with Monty as much as Thornton did.

Marcus Thornton can stay away as well. Everybody ooh's and ahh's over what he did in Sacramento, but if he didn't fit into Monty's system the first go round, what makes you think it would work the second? All you people who love him just because he went to LSU need to get over it.

There's no way we're getting Chandler back. Dallas isn't going to let him go. End of story.

As much as I love D West, I agree that we may need to let him walk so we can possibly use his money to get another role player.
