Anyone seen this? I'd never even heard of this movie before but just saw a trailer, and it looks pretty legit. I then checked reviews and it looks to be killing it. Anyone seen it or looking forward to it?

I saw it a couple weekends ago. Pretty good and worth checking out if you are a fan of Wes Anderson movies.

Looks like Classic Wes. If you like him, you will probably love the film and if you don't you will hate it.
I celebrate his whole catalog so I am sure I will love it.

What's a Wes Anderson movie like? I looked him up on IMDB, and I don't think I've ever seen one of his films. Looks kinda artsy/visually stimulating.

frick whoever decided the release schedule for this movie.

I like his movies, but he has his flaws. It is artsy quirky, with a lot of detail and things going on in the background. There's a lot of stoic acting. He uses a lot of the same actors, but that's common for directors.
I think Bottle Rocket is one of his easiest films for a first timer to watch. My least favorite of his movies was Darjeeling Limited, and at the same time, I have a soft spot in my heart for the Life Aquatic, which a lot of people hate. Rushmore and the Royal Tenebaums are probably the two of best films that accurately sum up his style.

I was wondering the same. I just happened to see a commercial for it and was hoping that someone else here had seen it.

I don't know where I can see it. But I want to see it!
ETA Wait, it's in BR?
Where?
ETA ETA Perkins Rowe. Of course it's there. That place is legit for smaller films.

I was thinking I have never heard of this guy, then realized I saw every movie you listed. This may be good, surely has a great cast.

Though his style is not usually my taste, I have loved every movie of his I've seen.

I saw it too!
Did you go to the 2:20pm showing at Perkins Rowe?
ETA I liked it. It was as quirky as Life Aquatic.

Saw it a few weeks back. It's a classic Wes Anderson movie. If you like Rushmore, Royal Tenembaums (spelling, I know), Life Aquatic, you'll like this one.

Sure did.

I thought that the boy that played Sam did a great job. Suzy just seemed like another version of Margot Tenenbaum, but the girl who played her did a good job.

Life Aquatic is my favorite movie from Wes. Might be my favorite Bill Murray role. I'll have to check this out for sure.

Saw it this weekend. Absolutely loved it. Thought it was one of the most enjoyable movies I've seen in a long time. Honestly can't see how anyone could not like it!
