it really is dumb as shite where they put the new box .. they're lucky someone hasn't been hit and killed on nicholson crossing for a game yet .. spend a little money and build a foot bridge over nicholson at that spot or something ..

Before someone says you can't put a pedestrian bride there because it's a state highway like people like to say on TD.. There's a footbridge over highland at blue bayou and one over river road downtown and those are both state highways.

the free lot down the street from the box fills up pretty quickly and once it goes over to that adjacent area, it's a hoof to the stadium from that point .. just across nicholson is closer ... i guess a lot of people don't know the back way to get to that lot on the dirt road next to the softball stadium .. so, when it gets close to game time, they see the traffic backed up in front of the box and just park across nicholson, i guess .. i have a pass, so i don't sweat it ..

There is ONE elevator for fan use at the Box and too many stairs. In some seating areas you have to climb stairs to go around the rail and descend the same stairs to get to your seat. This sucks.
Whoever designed this place needs to be shot.
I hate the traffic in the area. I live not far down Burbank and on some game days, traffic is a nightmare and it is hard to get home.

once you get inside the stadium, shite .. you can't beat the new box vs. the old .. the concourse is nice .. it actually has leg room in the grandstand .. bathrooms are convenient as are the concession stands .. it is a really nice venue ..

actually it pretty much never fills up at all.

the old tiger stadium held 67,500 .. the new tiger stadium holds 92,500 .. soon to be almost 100K .. but the "old" tiger stadium is still there .. that is kinda stupid to say ..

like i said, i have a parking pass and i never go over there .. i just hear a lot of people complaining about it .. i have seen the shuttle before .. it looks pretty nice .. just would have rathered it where the softball stadium is .. then almost all parking would be adjacent ..

yeah we have a pass as well but we usually all have to meet in the hayfield, load up all the tailgate supplies, and carry one car in. anyone who is late has to just catch the shuttle. so i have a lot of dealings with the hayfield lot. its certainly never full and the shuttles are very useful. there isnt much reason at all to park across nicholson.

We need some great memories to happen in NAB, to even come close to OAB. Right now, NAB is not even in the same galaxy of awesomeness as OAB.

i would imagine there are a lot of people that park across nicholson that just don't realize the hayfield is easier to access than they think .. i know the intersection backs up for big games at the burbank light all the way past the stadium .. they just don't realize they can get there off of skip bertman drive by the softball stadium too .. shite .. with the shuttle .. that is better to me ..

yes it gets bad. i never take that way out. like you said i guess people dont realize you can exit out the backside of hayfield to skip bertman.
