just got that message from bleacher report on my phone..ive been hoping we could land this guy plus we signed him to a 9yr contract...theo and hoyer doing work...we need bats in the lineup super bad....rizzo,jackson,soler,alomar and castro...we should be very good in a few years....

Might as well start rebuilding.
I saw them live last week, it's a talent gap. They also seem to be without leadership. As a Tiger fan I course think they need Theriot. Saw lots of old Theriot jerseys still being worn.

9 year deal, meaning it's unlikely he'll ever make it to arbitration..I like the deal, right inline with what Cespedes, Chapman, and Leonys Martin were paid.
And it's the last time a deal like this can happen before the new CBA.
