If he doesn't make the Cws that will make 4 straight years with no trip to Omaha. Seems like things will get pretty hit at that point, all it took to get the Sammy's special run was one non tourney year. Perhaps he will realize this and make the necessary adjustments (I.e. fire Sanchez).

The man just hosted a Super after having not had any post season play the year before.

Stop posting.

Unless Manieri totally bombs it out next season and doesn't even make the tourney, he doesn't have anything to worry about.

Win the SEC, host a super, fire the coach. Yeah that sounds about right

Agree with you on this.

Remember he hired Alan Dunn last year after the pitching was horrible. He made the necessary adjustment last time, will he do it this time?

Who's fault was it that he didn't make the post season last year?

We do have some mildly retarded fans who believe unless a championship is delivered the coach should be fired

No one said mainieri should be fired this year. Changes need to be made or he should live with the consequences next year IMO.

Is 4 yrs without a shot at the title now acceptable for lsu baseball? Because if we don't make a run, that's what we will be looking at.

The days of dominating baseball like LSU did during the Skip Bertman are long over. Some of you need to accept it. LSU shouldn't settle for mediocrity but it also shouldn't be CWS or bust either.

Not a chance. We have a great coach and a great team and had a great year. SEC Champions. Sometimes you lose, it's life.

It has been 4 years without a BCS title for Miles. Should he be fired too?

You mean like south carolina has been doing? Hell Florida has been a constant contender the last few years.

Send Sanchez to Joe Pennucci's hitting instructors clinic.Hopefully he learned something from watching the clinic that Pennucci and his hitters put on at the Super Regional against LSU.

Florida only has 8 CWS appearances ever. Sure they've had some success lately but it will hard to sustain it for any long period of time.
