Anyone around the stadium have a report on how the weather has been over the past few hours? Just curious to know how much water the field has taken on incase we get some rain tonight.

I dont think it has rained since 10 am.

Don't laugh but couldn't they use a chopper to dry out the field a little?
Years ago they did this for a baseball tourney ... albeit a Dixie Youth one ... but it worked wonders.
??? Field looked AWFUL on Friday and Sat. Props to the grounds crew for trying.

Live about a mile from the stadium. No rain since about 9am.

We did the helicopter thing in high school after a record snowfall late in the year the day before lacrosse playoffs. The field was soggy but playable, the soccer team used it the day after us and said it played as if it had been a Nicaraguan mine field.

i live about 20 miles from lafayette. No rain all day. We gonna play ball tonight
