Honestly, when Harden's on the floor most of this doesn't matter. The Heat will make sure Harden is guarding the man with the ball on every play.
And the Heat will switch nearly everything on defense anyway. So primary match ups will have very little meaning.

Another adjustment Sports gets no credit for in the final 2 games of the series.

So you have Durant guarding Wade in the 1st quarter of every game?
If Brooks keeps with his normal starting 5, when the heat have both Bosh and Haslem in the lineup. Then he will have to guard Lebron or Chalmers. Westbrook will guard Wade when Lebron is on the floor.
However, that will not be a common occurrence as the Thunder will go small against the Heat pretty quickly into the game. I do not see many times when the Thunder will keep both Perkins and Ibaka on the floor for long stretches of time.
I do find it funny that most people dont see Thabo Sefolosha as an elite defender in the NBA. I am sure Tony Parker and Kobe Bryant in this year's playoffs will disagree with you.

Just look up shel311 and VerlanderBEAST... find it funny.
They obviously have never watched him play. He is in the discussion for best perimeter defender in the NBA.

No way heat win this series

there is a huge difference in calling him an elite defender and the hands down best perimeter defender in the NBA or best defender in this series (which is lebron)

No one is saying he isn't Elite, but the Heat have 2 guys, maybe 3 if you include Battier who are as good or better than Sefolosha

the thunder and heat are 2 teams that run hot and cold. when both are hot/on, they look unbeatable. when both are cold, they're below average (and sometimes quite dogshit)
the thunder have some major flaws that the heat can exploit that people are not really discussing

I already stated Lebron is there.
Wade does not belong, and statistically this year was his first year to be great defensively. In the past he was not even in the discussion for an elite defender and now he does not even have to defend the other team's best player.
Battier defense lately has been over-rated and most defensive metrics point that out. He has not been great since 2006 or so.

he poses a certain defensive matchup problem for certain players, and he abused durant last year for long stretches

Well according to basketball reference's Defensive win shares
Lebron 2
Wade 29
Battier 66
Miller 187
Sefolosha 191
Lebron 2
Wade 29
Battier 66
Miller 187
Sefolosha 191

I have a feeling, Battier/LeBron will be covering Durant and LeBron/Battier is going switch on whoever is the hot person.Selfosha won't shutdown lebron, he maybe a good perimeter defender but LeBron is too strong for thabo

Thabo doesnt play the near the minutes of the other guys so hard to make a judgement with DWS. Considering Lebron plays 3 times as many minutes as Thabo does. Even Battier played 1499 minutes this season.
Also DRtg is a much better statistic for that, however it is flawed since he does not take into account the player they are defending. Which helps players like Battier and Wade, when Lebron takes the other team's primary scorer.

Whoa there, don't change what you said, then say that I disagreed with it.
Get your story straight before assigning words to me that I never said.

having thabo and perkins to guard is very underrated. that's basically a rest period for the defender
