With the players coming back and incoming freshman, we will be favored to win the SEC and should be preseason top 5. I'm not even counting on Gallo making it to campus.

I think one of the big keys is who will fill in on the left side of the infield. Hanover and Nola were both valuable assets in the field and both will be missed.

Regardless, with minimal losses outside of Gausman, this team is stacked for next season.

I'd like to know how UF and USC did in the draft.

Weekend rotation?

Nola
Eades
McCune?

Do you give one of the freshmen a chance on the weekend right away?

Oh, and Eades was a non factor for much of last season and now look...

Glenn is in the same boat, imo

He will have to sink or swim next year because we will need a starter

uh, that's huge. we lose the left side of the infield, the ace and a darn good closer. that could prove to be devastating. the people replacing them are completely unproven with the exception of nola the younger. even if jones slides over to short, who replaces him?

keep in mind our outfield stinks right now. if that's who is coming back, it's pretty mediocre.

hopefully, we can find acceptable replacements in the infield and even better players in the outfield. it will be difficult to replace nola the greater. he has been fantastic this year at short.

mccune and eades as starters is scary, in a bad way.

I don't see this team being stacked next season. Raph won't hit .500 for most of the season, Gausman won't be back, we already are having problems getting people into the lineup that can hit better than Arby Fields and that's before we lose Hanover and Nola. We might be decent next year but not stacked unless we have a bunch of Freshmen All Americans coming in.

I suspect the top 5-6 schools in the SEC will be equally loaded. In the SEC you have to be talent loaded just to compete.
