Haven't been down to New Orleans in a while. How's that place doing? I have fond memories of eating there with my parents and grandparents and then walking down to the Sanger.

My friend's family owns it. I'm always impressed. I like the cochon and crabmeat cheesecake myself.

Some people rip on it here but I have never had a bad meal.

That being said, for the same price I would go elsewhere.

It was better before Gus Martin left for Muriel's. But now Muriel's is better. So it's a push.

(and yes I follow local chefs)

Ate there on 010912...and being able to enjoy a fantastic meal with my Father as part of one of the best days he and I have ever spent together in my entire life was something that will help them retain a place near and dear to my heart forever.

Their steak was fantastic. Their drinks were on point. Service was excellent. Experience helped make it a lasting one in my mind...

crabmeat cheesecake, either the rabbit or the duck, and white chocolate bread pudding. One hell of a meal
