A year ago i watched blade runner on the netflix intant queue. i didn't enjoy it all that much but i was told that the director's cut is far superior. Does anyone remember if that version on netflix was the director's cut? Also, what is the board's opinion on the two different versions?

It's definitely not. The director's cut doesn't have the voiceover and has some added scenes that are pretty significant to the story. Definitely watch the director's cut.

No it was the original version and it's IMO the best movie of the entire 80's decade. Tons of people love the directors cut more like every Ridley Scott film it seems, but it doesn't have the Harrison Ford voice over. I personally like that. But I love both versions.

The Director's Cut is infinitely better. I hated the Ford voiceover. IMO, most critics prefer the Director's Cut

O no doubt they do. That's the majority opinion. Rachael was so hot to me.

There are 7 versions of Blade Runner, the orginal 1982, 116 minutes release is well done, many like the Driector's 1991, 116 minutes cut better.

Those are the best 2 of the movies' 7 versions.

I have not seen Ridley Scott's The Final Cut (2007, 117 minutes), I have seen the other 6.

I rented the final cut on iTunes. Being honest I couldn't tell the difference from the director cut. I'm sure I'd I watched the, back to back or if somebody mentioned them I would remember. But with that many versions I just stick to the original or the directors cut if I can.

Well actually the version you're going to want to look for is the final cut, not directors.
