Top 4 is Rice, MJD, Foster, and McCoy but after that who would you put 5?

Chris Johnson? Trent Richardson? Lynch?

It gets bad real fast at RB

ACL tear, broken leg, constant injury issues

Say you are drafting in early August so whats the highest you would take any of those 3 and feel like u got good value on it?

In all honesty my board looks like this.

1. Ray Rice (Schedule is incredibly weak early, looks like a rushing title this year)

2. Arian Foster (Great talent in perfect offense but lost his best OT and how much will Tate and Andre/Schaub cut into his production)

3. Aaron Rodgers (Yes over McCoy, Reid said he over worked him last year and Rodgers is a fantasy monster week in and week out)

4. Lesean Mccoy (will still score a ton of TDs)

5. Calvin Johnson (F*ck the madden curse, Megatron is an animal)

6a. Tom Brady (Slight edge of MJD due to the addition of McDaniels and Lloyd)

6b. MJD (If Gabbert wasn't the worst QB in the league I would have him at 4)

8. Brees (If Benson would stop f*cking around and sign him I would have him above Brady)

9. Chris Johnson (All pro guard and full training season he'll be back to prove last year was a fluke)

10. Gronk (27 TD's in the 1st 2 years speaks for itself, every year there are RB's and WR's you can pick up on the waiver wire that can carry you far (Nelson, Cruz, Sproles) Gronk sures up a position and could easily score more points than any WR or TE)

How far does Peterson drop with the ACL? He says he expects to be back for game 1. He also says he is 50/50 for beginning of camp. Obviously, if he is back for camp, he moves up near the top.

If he's not back for camp but says he'll be back game 1 or 2, where would you pick him?

That will be an interesting one. That kind of production from the TE slot is like playing with an extra player.

Some will be scared to take him, not me. We use an auction draft which is kinda lame IMO but I'm thinking he could be a good bargin. We take turns nominating players, there is usually a lot of smart arse nominations made. We definitely don't follow the rankings chart.

Not sure cause there is always the chance that that they put him on the PUP list and then that's 6 weeks he is out.

Even if he comes back and plays like AP of old with no drop off, that's more than half the regular fantasy season you dont have him.

If i get some kind of confirmation that AP will be back by week 4 I'll take him in the 2nd round. Last year I took Foster at 3rd overall and got ridiculed. Went on to rape my league.

broken leg

shouldn't really hurt forte at all...not that long of a recovery

with the improvement at wr, he should get more room

I'm very likely going to go Brees/Graham with my first 2 picks.

McFadden is as good as the top RBs in the league when healthy. He was lights out the first part of last season and the Raiders switching there blocking scheme helps him out even more.

In an interview a few days ago, he said he was 100% and has never felt better.

He would be my #5 behind the guys you listed.

I love jimmy graham as much as everyone else fantasy wise but I would never take him in the 2nd. I would take him 3rd at the earliest and hope for early in the 4th if your lucky.

I'm keeping Megatron and Nicks. Can't trust Best or Mendenhal, so I'll keep my solid receivers.

I may gamble and draft Richardson early. I think he will get significant touches in Cleveland.

I wouldnt keep 2 wrs but it sounds like you dont have another option.

Hell, CJ is probably the only wr in the league I would even consider keeping and even him would be hard for me to do. They are just too risky and you never know what they will do from game to game.

Auctions are far from lame. They are the only truly fair method as everyone has the opportunity to get every player. They also give more realism as you have to manage your salary cap.

that league has been going since 2001. We swithced in 2010 because guys were complaining about how long the draft lasted and mostly because they were not drafting good teams. If you can't hack it in a snake draft, thats too bad IMO. The vote was 7 to 5 to get it changed. The draft now lasts probably a hour longer now It was also decided that we would switch from team defense/special teams to IDP the same year. While my offenses aren't as good as they used to be, my defenses have been pretty damn good. I wasn't a fan of this change either but at least it has worked more to my advantage.

yeah no doubt about that.
