Are you frustrated that he described what he recognizes to be one of the basic fundamentals of baseball, yet we have played 3 infielders on one side of the infield at least a couple dozen times this year?

I'm sighing because of how blatantly obvious the layout of fielders on a baseball field comment was. Even in little league ball, I would have never needed that gem of advice.
Although, I didnt even think about our recent trend of putting the shift on heavy pull hitters, which I am all about. But I'm sure Javi isn't the one making those defensive changes.

There are also no defenders past the outfield wall so it is good to tell hitters to hit it over that as well.

In his defense, he can say that his coaching has produced the NCAA's leading hitter, and a team batting average that's 4th in the SEC. Not horrible.

Now if we can just get into an advanced tball league, then it is obvious we have an excellent hitting coach in Javi.

um, no defense. No he did not coach up RR. Lsue coach has more to do with his batting than Javi S.
Look at the hitters coming out of Eunice verses LSU. No, he is not Javi's prodigy. To have a championship caliber team, we need a championship caliber hitting coach. What is Sanchez,s resume prior to coming to LSU? Don't have nothing against the man, but the product ain't sellin.

We're getting good offensive production relative to the talent on hand. We don't exactly have a lot of talented hitters up and down our lineup. Nearly all of our guys have a solid up the middle / opposite field approach and they've been pretty selective since early in the season.

So lsu's hitting coach thinks that the only reason a ball is hit to the opposite field is because the batter unintentionally was late?
