didn't he get moved to FB?

Good sign if he plays some FB this year. Great way to learn the offense and where the running plays are designed to go. Also a quick way to find out whether a kid wants to block ... something that's critical if you want to be an every down back in the SEC.

Hester, Scott, Ridley and Hilliard all started out at FB in their careers.

Hey, didn't he benefit greatly by running behind the blocking of one of the nation's top OL, La'el Collins in HS?

Let's see how he does in college--the Tigers have a lot of depth at RB. But I really look forward to seeing him compete with an already strong group of RB's.

Agree about the FB advantage. Allows the back to get a different look at the way the line breaks down. Also helps them to make reads and decisions quicker even if just a couple of steps quicker. A couple of steps can be the difference between a loss and a 10 yard gain. Also think it's Les and Frank's way of testing the guys toughness and willingness to work. Hill needs that.

Will we be running the Wild Tiger with him?

McFadden wouldn't have been all that without the wildhog formation as demonstrated by his NFL career so far.

I hope Hill is something like a big RB named Charles Alexander who will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame this year.

McFadden's problems have been injury related. When healthy he may be the best back in the NFL.

it eliminates having to be able to notice and think about what is really happening if you have a short hand for everything.
Oh, he's a Republican, therefore he is for war.
Oh, he's a Democrat, he is being paid by the unions to do their bidding.

So I saw JH play in HS a good bit- I wouldn't compare him to DMAC at all. Not the speed. He broke it outside but I think I remember him getting caught vs. Notre Dame in the playoffs on a TD run. He reminds me more of a Duece McCallister or LT. From what I remember her prefers between the tackles but can still pop outside with good, but not lightning, speed

Scott didn't actually. he was a TB who got some snaps at FB later on in his career.

and even if Hill = McFadden, the real question is will he be > Hester?

If he is as good as you claim, he should get at least 10 to 15 carries a game. But he want this year with the stable we have, not enough playing time to satisfy all.
