BCS buster: Arky State #1 - the Malzahn factor

I am not an insider but the first one on the list is Arky State. Malzahn seems to be the main reason for their #1 ranking. I know there are some Sun Belt fans due to ULL. Does Malzahn have a lot to work with this year?
Typical BCS busters are TCU, BSU and UTAH (now no longer considered). Conference USA has had a couple in the past. Anybody with an insider account, would be nice to know the others.
Arky State will feature Frankie Johnson at tailback. I am sure a few on this board recall his recruitment out of LA. Their offensive line goes 300+ across the entire. Alpine is a senior and is said to run the read option well.
They seam to lack size at the skill positions. They don't lack size in the trenches but are tiny at the skill spots.
Is the buzz fabricated because of Malzahn or do they have some good talent?

They would have to beat both Oregon and Nebraska. No way a Sun Belt conference champ with a loss is going to the BCS.

TCU's in the Big XII now.
No Sun Belt team will ever bust the BCS.

They could if they beat Oregon and Nebraska. Not gonna happen hopefully.
Seemed really far fetched.

Houston, LA tech, & USM.
A Texas school, a Louisiana school, & a Mississippi.

The ERA of the BCS buster is coming to a dead halt apparently.

when utah did it the first time their marquee win was 7-5 texas a&m
when hawaii did it theirs was 10-3 boise state...
pretty sure every sun belt team plays harder money games than that

The Arkansas State love fest is going to be crazy.
They were going to be stacked this year (returning everybody) with Freeze as their coach anyways. Get ready for it....

I did mean for this thread to be about BCS busters as well since TCU, Utah and BSU are now out of the conversation.
It seems the cinderalla story Americans love will be less of a possibility going forward.
However, I am intrigued by Arkansas state as well because they are Oregon's first opponent.
Malzahn's mercurial rise coincided with Cam as well. Is this guy overrated?
