For the Saints he had 94 kick off returns for 2,411 yards and 1 touchdown. He's also got 2 receptions for 15 yards for the Saints.
Roby has been on the Saints roster for 5 years, and been in jeapordy of being cut by the Saints for the past 6 years.

Fourcade played as an undrafted free agent in 4 games as a backup to Joe Paopao for the British Columbia Lions in 1983. As a career journeyman quarterback, he played for the 1984 Winnipeg Blue Bombers (CFL) and the 1985 Memphis Showboats (USFL) before being signed as a free agent by the New York Giants in May 1986. He then played for the 1987 Denver Dynamite in the Arena Football League. In 1987, he led the Saints to a 2-1 replacement game record and made the regular roster. Over his career, Fourcade passed for 2,312 yards in 24 games for the Saints, with a passer rating of 70.1. He was waived by the Saints in Jul. 1991.[1] In 1993 he played for the Miami Hooters of the AFL. In 2001, he was the general manager, head coach and played in the National Indoor Football League for the Mississippi Fire Dogs.
Bivian Lee - Cornerback who was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the 3rd round (54th overall) of the 1971 NFL Draft out of Prairie View A&M. Played from 1971-1975. Had 9 interceptions and 110 tackles. Led the Saints in interceptions in '72 and '73. Bivian died in '84, but his son, "Sonny" went on to work for the Saints and Tom Benson at one point and now heads up a charity called Son of A Saint to help fatherless boys. Article on the Charity.

I was in love with Fourcade and I'm not sure why. His stats weren't that impressive But I guess you had to scale down production for this offense back in those day to be impressed. And I guess you always remember things differently as time goes by.

Don't feel bad. I think a majority of fans liked him for no reason.
How fitting. Last year at this time I posted a picture of Chase "Don't call me Daniels" Daniel. This year it's Seneca Wallace.
10 days until the first preseason game fellas!

No love for Edd (with 2 "d's") Hargett??

Lotsa love for Edd Hargett from me. His wife was my third grade teacher at Ganus (once upon a time).
People loved John Fourcade because he was a home boy.

A lot of stuff from that '87 season was glamorized IMO. I watched a video on the season once, and game after game it seemed that the opposing starting QB was either out or hampered by injury. The stars were aligned
And lest we forget....

#4 Ryan Griffin "RG4"
He will likely be on the practice squad this year and then be the potential back up next year or the year after that.
It will be interesting as there will be a lot of potential QBs taken in the 2014 NFL draft.

I still believe it's extremely unlikely that Griffin can contend for the Saints' backup quarterback job this year - especially with veterans Wallace and Luke McCown both looking sharp in practice, as well.
But Griffin has shown some nice potential so far and looks like he could follow more of the Chase Daniel blueprint instead of the Sean Canfield blueprint as a developmental/practice squad project.

Being a product of the Tulane offense gives Griffin a distinct advantage in trying to pick up the Saints' attack. The Green Wave runs a similar version of the Saints' offense under coach Curtis Johnson, who served as a wide receivers coach with the Saints under Sean Payton. Tulane quarterback coach Mike Neu was a former scout for the Saints as well.
Griffin said he's been in constant contact with his former coaches, which has aided him in his transition to the professional ranks.

I don't know if there's ever been any other 2's in Saints history (that started).
