We may not have our coach but last I checked we still have a better team. Also we own your arse lately, check our trophy case it's right next to our Lombardi.

Man I hate Saints fan. 11-5, but a split with NOLA is in line.

You also have a defense that is going to suffer some serious loss when the player suspensions are handed out. Drew Brees is not under contract (even though I think he will sign eventually). You don't have Carl Nicks who made your OL look MUCH better than what they actually are. On top of all that, you are facing one of the tougher schedules this season. Yes you have a Lombardi, congrats. However, that was then and this is now. That team that won the Lombardi isn't on the field anymore. Take a reality pill and realize that the season you are about to witness will not be a pleasant one and quit living under a rock. Do I think the Falcons will make the superbowl? Hell no. We are far from it. However, we have the inside track to the NFC South crown this year.

I've got no problem giving credit where it's due and i'm not a homer who thinks we will go 16-0 at any point in my life. I keep it real

Drew Brees release makes our offensive line look better than what they are. Also we lost the best o-lineman in free agency and signed the second best, not a huge drop-off there.

You are right. We are actually better.

This won't be as bad as everyone thinks. With the NFLPA they won't allow huge suspensions.

Hey we agree on something.

Tell me how I am wrong? Anyone who isn't a Saints homer realizes that the Saints are going to struggle this season. I'm sorry that you are too closed minded to realize that. The way you are acting right now is pretty much the equivalent to a Falcons fan proclaiming that the Falcons were going to win the NFC South back in 2007 with Joey Harrington. It's not gonna happen. There are too many what if's that have to go the Saints way. Your defense will field a handful of PS players going up against the best QB's in the league. Both Mannings, Rodgers, Rivers, Vick, Romo...It's going to be extremely hard to stop those QB's and their passing attack with PS guys and very little depth behind them

we'll see how long they are out for, we've had a ton of turnover since 09 so I doubt many guys actually get suspended for a prolonged period of time...we have upgraded all of the linebacker positions

non factor...he will be signed in PLENTY of time, more than likely they are waiting to see what happens with the suspensions before making him his final deal

replaced by a probowler in the prime of his career, I'd take Grubbs and a resigned Colston over Nicks any day. Grubbs is actually a better run blocker.

Definitely

And hungry as hell for another one.

You're correct with Sproles, Graham, and 2 powerbacks in Ivory and Ingram we're actually a MUCH more potent and balanced offense.

I'd actually argue that we're going to be motivated as hell on a week to week basis and have a top 2-3 qb in the NFL in the prime of his career looking to erase any doubt about how good his franchise is.

110% true

again dead on

With a noodle armed qb, a washed up power back who has about 1500 carries the past 4 years, an injury prone 2nd receiver, a turnstile O-line, a porous secondary and a geriatric pass rusher? nah
What problems did you actually fix in the offseason?

how many guys do you think are going to get suspended outside of Vilma, and maybe Smith and Harper?

That and the fact Sean Payton won't be calling plays this year.

could the saints struggle? sure, it's possible...we've done ok with distractions in the past though.

the saints have a much better team than the falcons though and to say the falcons have the inside track on the division is

we own the falcons
