Dude I don't even want to entertain your last post. Comparing Drew Brees and Matt Ryan is so stupid

drew brees v. matt ryan. it really is as simple as that.

No, it really isn't. Drew Brees and Sean Payton are a package deal. Them together is what makes the Saints offense so dangerous. Will Brees put up decent numbers next year? Yes. Is he breaking records or coming close? No.

Quit talking about Chris Ivory. The man filled in great last year, but was a non factor in the offense last year. He got less than 85 carries. He was 4th on the depth chart. Ingram will have a bigger role in the Saints offense than both PT and Ivory

so Drew will forget how to play football now that Payton is gone? Carmichael is a pretty damn good oc and brees knows this offense inside and out. We don't throw away the offensive system because Payton is sidelined

The Saints put up 62 points this year in the game that SP didn't make the offensive game plan or call plays

We blew it in the last minutes and had 5 turnovers on the road. 2 special teams frick ups

we've replaced our dumbass DC

only 1 team can win the Super Bowl every year, it isn't always the most talented

so that oh so great QB, wasn't so great huh? Just face it man. The Saints are a great football, but they are not the best, nor do they have the most talented team.

Did I say that? No, I just said he won't be as good as he is with Payton pulling the strings.

I'll be willing to bet you see a whole lot more balanced attack this year than last.

and that isn't a bad thing necessarily. We really came on at the end of the year running wise. We were also extremely balanced in 2009

how am I contradicting myself? I never said overall he wasn't a great QB. Even the best QB's have bad games. I'm just seeing how many excuses you make for the Saints losing to the 49ers rather than just admitting that the better team won the game.
