in Broussard? Might end up there this weekend and was curious if it's worth it. Any can't miss or must try items on the menu? TIA

That place is pretty damned legit. I've had nothing bad there. You want to get reservations.

Who on here is old enough to say they visited the restaurant when it was at it's original location, on Pinhook along the Vermillion?

Place is unbelievable. I used to have an office in Broussard and I must have visited Riverside 3 times a week.

It's very good. Haven't had anything I didn't enjoy. The flounder is a popular item, I believe.

any of the crabmeat dishes are excellent, the extravaganza with red fish or snapper or flounder, their home made rolls are a killer as is their bread pudding.

Behold this anomaly. No one has come in here to shite all over this restaurant. How often does that happen?

I ate at the old location several times. Many of us were worried that it would lose its charm when it moved away from the river.

Yeah it's legit. I like their oyster-lover's platter, and their stuffed flounder w/ crabmeat.
