I don't know what to tell you. I am all in for this guy!

I know there is another thread, but I am seriously excited now.

Much more so than Friday afternoon for me. I like him, he's funny and charismatic something TJ severely lacked

I'm game for JJones, but what he is saying is really to be expected out of a press conference of this kind.

I was skeptical, but he calmed my nerves with this press conference. He looks fly as frick on the sidelines as well!

Definately sounds like he has a good idea of what he needs to do in order to get the program back to old glory.....Im 100 percent pulling for him..Think he'll do just fine

Jerry Dinardo's opening press conference got me fired up about LSU's future. Get back to me in a few years.

Let me be the first to say, that while I agree he looks good and sounds good, there is little in his record to suggest he succeeds on a much bigger stage as a HC.
I am a fan, but I'm underwhelmed by this hire.

I like him and think he did an awesome job with that presser. I will always give any coach a chance. Support your coaches and teams...it's not that hard!

He likes to play quick..but also said, we're going to run the floor....but be in control & won't throwing the ball in the stands or kicking off it off our foot.

Should be exciting.

the hire was going to be an underwhelming one no matter what. LSU was not going to fork over $2.5+ to get a rock star for basketball...

I still dont understand this arguement. He took a UNT team that won 20 games over 5 years prior to him becoming HC and ended up averaging 19 wins per season during his stay (190 in 10 yrs) and 21 wins per season his last 6. That's a huge turnaround. For a program with zero historical relevance in a state filled with schools trying to get players, he was able to get big time recruits a few times.

UNT has more 20 win seasons over the past 10 years than LSU. That is what JJones brought to the table, and for me that is pretty damn good. Especially cause he loves LSU so much.
