Why not Red it out if your team is in red? Too hot in the desert to wear red?

Winnipeg? I doubt anyone in Phoenix has ever been to Winnipeg. And Winnipeg has its own team again. I just thought it odd and for a while thought maybe there were a lot of Chicago fans there. And maybe I'm just jealous cuz my crappy stars are sitting....well...they're probably at club med....friggin losers.

You should def get tickets though. Playoff hockey games are 10X more fun and better atmosphere than a regular game

there were...there is a strong Illinois presence in the greater phoenix population. Actually there is a large Big Ten country presence. Every other person I met when i lived there was from ohio, wisconsin or illinois.

Speaking of the coyotes though...i went to a coyote fan day even at the zoo years back and took a helmet and got the entire team to sign it...this was in the Claude Lemeiux, Teppo Numminen, Danny Briere, Michael handzus, sean burke days...come to think of it, how were those guys not any good?

Yea, I knew that. There are tons of them at the stars games here too. Nobody wants to live in that freezer if they don't have to. Half my friends are from Illinois and Iowa...........those two people hate it when it gets below 50 here.

Maybe that's why the high school football in arizona sucks, everyone is from big 10 country. how did i never think of that before?

Yotes game was fricking sick tonight! Had a great time. Group of 4 of us... 2 being Blvkhawk fans. I said the Phoenix win was most important but a win in OT would be sweet going in.

Conceding at 19:20 was tough but the OT win in the end was worth it!

I will post a pic/vid from the game in the morning.

It's imo that the Caps are done. I think the Bruins take it in 5.

The popular line seems to be the Bruins got away with one and this was the chance for the upset, but I don't see it. the Caps played a great third period but the Bruins DOMINATED the first two. And for all of their dominance, they squeaked out a win in OT (which was the just result). This wasn't Ottawa getting smacked around like George beat Weezie.

The Caps big issue was an idea I really liked, but didn't work: Brooks Laich was tair-ruh-bull. He lost about 75% of his faceoffs, which is truly awful and explained why Ovie had no zone time. He also was a non factor on offense, fumbling a lot passes and making Ovie and Brouwer forecheck solo. I loved the idea of going big, but it didn't work. Move Perreault to the first line and put a legit top six center up there, and put Laich down to a checking energy line with Ward and Hendricks.

We do that for the Aeros in Houston, too.

Sharks finally score this season in St. Louis.

Didn't stay up to see the end of Hawks/Yotes but good for Phoenix winning that one. I really hope they win the series.

Me too. Phoenix actually sold out their playoff game. Kudos to the people of Glendale showing up.

If the Caps want to be physical, Aucoin should not be on the ice. I think they should replace him with Knuble. Also, bench Hendricks in favor of Halpern and let him take Laichs face off duties. I'm not really that upset over last night. A series doesn't really start until the home team loses.

Glendale was such a horrible place to build the hockey arena. The entire east valley is alienated. We had to drive 32 miles and it took an hour and 15 minutes with rush hour traffic. Mesa, Chandler, and Gilbert are another 10-30 miles away which have some of our biggest populations as suburbs.

Reunite the CLAW line, put Backs and Ovie together on the top line with Ovie and let Semin play with Perrault, who I think he has a psychic bond with. Put MoJo on that line. Henricks-Halpern-Knuble as your fourth. Go.
