I would imagine a few teams have already done this, Stephens is probably waiting for a school where basketball is the number one sport and that is not LSU

Its not like Stephens is making a fortune at Butler. LSU could make a statement and a commitment to the basketball program by offering him a top Salary for a men's basketball coach. Make him tell us no. LSU is a tremendous opportunity no matter what the fans think. Athletes grow on trees in La. And the fan base is incredible when our program is winning.
