What say the rant? He's through seven now for any of you who can't count.

If he wants to and his health holds up. But 15 years is a long time in this day and age. When you've already made enough money to live on the rest of your life, it's easy to say frick it and go live on the golf course or whatever his hobby is.

I'd be surprised if he went more than 5 more years. What's crazy is that in 3 more years, he'll be vested in the state's retirement system and get health-care perks as a result that are awesome.

I think LSU works it out where he doesn't take advantage of the retirement system however.

At 3mm a year, his financial needs are taken care of. He's not some 24 year old out in the clubs every night. He's probably got every nickel he ever earned socked away.

I say No. If he keeps rolling I would love him to stay that long though.

False. He coaches out this contract and hangs it up.

False. I think he will coach about 3-4 more years. 5 at most.

True, unless he wants to retire.

FACT: The rantards won't appreciate this man until he leaves, and what a sight that will be.

Yeah, coaching searches are a crap shoot at best. Some guy's current school ups the ante, another guy's wife doesn't like the looks of Baton Rouge, and suddenly you're on to Plan C. Even if you get your first choice, you don't know if things will work out with him here. Stability breeds success.

haha yeah, I almost want him to leave soon now just to see the meltdown on the rant afterwards when LSU is struggling to have a .500 season.

Truthfully I don't see him leaving before 4 or 5 more years. I hope he stays another 30!

The question is any coach capable of lasting 15 years at a school like LSU anymore.
I think he can if he truly wants to but I doubt it.

He wins it all this year and tries 4 years with the cowboys after Jason Garrett flops again.

False.

He is 59 years old...I think. I'll say he coaches this one plus 2 more seasons.

He'll end up with 10 years total. Needs 25 more wins at LSU to hit 100.

He will ride it out to the end just like Bo. 10 years minimum.

I pray to the good Lord it's false. Why would anybody want to play for this man after the way he treated JL. Play at LSU for the school, not Leslie Miles.
