20 and 15 year mortgage rates?

the 20yr is not much different then a 30yr so 4% this morning. the 15yr is 3.25% ..yes someone probally told you rates were lower and they were 2 months ago but not currently

yep they are about .375% higher right now..insane low rates dont stick around long

I was able to lock in 4% on a 30yr fixed with 5K closing costs paid for (through the lender). I am pretty pumped

I'm 23 and not even a year removed from graduation. I don't expect to be OT ballin for a while

ETA: I was able to put 20% down though

I just locked in a 3.875% for a 20 year...had a 6% for a 30 year before...

Did I get a good deal?

Geismar..thats a solid 20yr rate. the 20yr and 30 are very close to each other. and going from 6% to anything with a 3 infront of it is worth it.

I was just quoted 3.75% 30 year fixed about a week ago. That's just on the pre-qual though. 20 year wouldn't be much lower than that.

While this question is up....I dont see ads for 10 yrs much anymore...they still giving 10 years out and about how much less are they than 15 yr?

I am locked in at 2.75% @ 15-yr w/Citimortgage with credit score in dat range. Locked in 2wks ago.
