I tried this yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. I used crunchy peanut butter and blackberry jelly. Just regular jarred jalapenos, but wondering if fresh would be better. It's a nice mid afternoon snack.

Any other seemingly strange combos that taste good?

Other peanut butter combos I've enjoyed:
PB and banana
PB and Nutella
PB and chocolate syrup
PB on a burger

Methinks you like peanut butter a little too much.

This one is very odd.

I am going to have to try this although this can not be good for you.

I've eaten this on a spoon as a snack but never on a sandwich.

I do pb and Sriracha, which is kind of in the same vein as the pb and jalapeño. Its salty and sweet and adds a heat factor that is just awesome.

I would think fresh would be better as the pickled kind in the jar have a lot of vinegar. I do love me some blackberry jelly and preserves. You could just get some jalapeno jelly and be done with it.

Had a Dragon Toe today: scallop inserted into a habanero wrapped in bacon and grilled. Nice and firey. Much better than the Rat Toe that merely used a jalapeno.

I've only done 2 strange PB combinations.
Crunchy PB and onions. Freshly diced onions. So good. I need to make this again soon.

Worst PB combo was PB and canned tuna. I was out of mayo and needed a pre workout snack. I had already opened the can of tuna and figured why not add another high protein mixer. Terrible idea. Never ever ever try this.

A combo I like:

Peanutbutter, Sweet Onion Marmalade, Fresh Strawberries, and Almonds.

Put it all together, and crisp it up on a griddle. You get a warm, crispy and tasty sandwich.
