No matter how many times you try to convince yourself, there was nothing besides having better players Ohio State could do to avoid the humiliation Florida was going to put on them.

Probably. But the one series Ohio State committed to the run in the game they ran the ball straight at Florida for a TD drive. Also, going for it on 4th and 1 from his own 20 yard line was the dumbest thing Tressel did on the football field. It showed his players he was desparate.
