So, I've watched the first season and a half on Netflix and I have a question.

Does anything actually happen? Do they ever actually cook any meth? Seems like they have only cooked two batches in a season and a half.

its hard for them to collect the materials without being obvious

walt is careful and paranoid about getting caught

if you expect the show to be just about making meth, sorry to disappoint

Remember this question by the end of season 4.

Yeah, they cooked that batch, then they cooked some for Tuco.

That is all.

I didn't expect the show to be about meth, but I didn't expect 12 episodes of them talking about cancer.

Just to add: Downton Abby has ten times more stuff go down in an episode than Breaking Bad.

this show is so much more than that, if you cant appreciate the acting and how amazingly this show is written than you should just stop because its not for you

I'm sure he appreciates the acting, but if they don't cook more meth soon Deacon is not gonna be able to perfect his recipe in time to make rent.

I would prefer to think of myself as more of a distributer.

Oh wait, didn't know we were at the Breaking Bad want-to-be-snob level yet.

This is like someone watching Gone With The Wind and saying "where are the battle scenes?!"

Yep, just like that.

Also, I wondered why there wasn't more ship sinking in Titanic.

:deacon:

For real though, things get very interesting.. especially at the end of season 2 and the entirety of season 3 (which is the best season of the show, IMO). It's never going to live up to any lofty expectations one may have as far as encompassing lots of action, but the twists and the manner in which the show and characters change - along with the very underrated cinematography and special effects - make it worth watching.

I got hooked on this show to the nerd third level stage. I didn't know it was being renewed after season 1 but was so satisfied with the last episode (mysterious floating eyeball foreshadowed all year) I would have been ok if that was it.

But it came back and for the most part, got better. Some forreal creepy, very well developed characters. I found myself with the same " ok I'm cool if this is it" feeling after the mind blowing finish to last season.

If you feel like saying fark it,just start there and I promise you'll want to see everything that led to wtf just happened

It took me a while to really get sucked in, but the action in seasons 3 and 4 are awesome. But the action and meth isn't what makes this show great. It's the character development, writing, and cinematography.

And to answer your question, the meth cooking picks up exponentially in season 3. Hang in there, you'll be glad you did. Breaking Bad, in my mind, is the best show on TV

Here's a question. Will season 4 be out on Nerflix before season 5 starts? Want to get all the way caught up.
