Really??? They'd be nuts to do that. Keep a star point guard and build around him. I keep saying Rondo is one consistent jump shot away from being the best player in the entire league.

Rondo has the most trade value for the Celtics.........he makes lower end money compared to his play....so he is good trade bait...the thinking is trade him now before they cant resign him or lose leverage when he goes into his last year of contract......KG and Allen's expring contracts means they will keep them and then they will have a ton of money to spend and possibly use the free agency splash combined with some good picks they can get for rondo to rebuild fairly quickly......its really their only option

Where do you see him winding up? I know Memphis has been interested for a couple years, offering OJ and Thabeet in 09' and there was serious talk about Monta for Rudy Gay in the offseason.
