Is Kevin Love the best white American born player since Larry Bird?

I say yes, and it seems as if he gets better and better and he is only 23 years old. He has to be on the Olympic team this summer.

I use to have the discussion of who the best American white guy in the NBA was with my friends all the time. Before Love it was an argument that included greats like JJ Redick and Kirk Hinrich

Good call, Stockton and Mullin are since Bird.
Other than that, I can't think of anyone else.
Jeff Hornacek, Christian Laettner, White Jason Williams, David Lee, Mike Dunleavy Jr, Kirk Hinrich, and Mike Miller are nowhere near as good as Love.
