Sharper can't be in trouble for any hits in the 2011 campaign, because there weren't any.

Not that I was a fan of PFT, but now they're dead to me.

This is bull shite.
Every stupid reporter with a pen, paper and a key board is able to make any accusation they want and demand for firings.
But as soon as someone has a contradictory opinion, they need to be quieted by the league. Bull shite.

It is amazing to see the media (ESPN, NBC, CNNSI, etc.) come out hard on anyone who rebuts the NFL's findings. It appears like the media won't listen to an opposing point of view.
ETA, if the Saints bounty program included payment for injuring opposing team players they sure did not show it on the field.

Former Saints safety Darren Sharper currently works as an analyst for NFL Network, the TV operation owned and operated by the league. But Sharper may not have that job much longer, if he continues to openly dispute the findings that the NFL already has made regarding the bounty system that the Saints used from 2009 through 2011.
This is getting out of control.

On the same day the NFL inexplicably pulled the plug on a replay of the 2009 NFC title game
that's pretty pathetic

it's amazing to me that the one person in the "media" who might have some actual knowledge of what happened is being called out like this.

On Saturday, we explained the potential impact of dishonesty on the effectiveness of an internal investigation. In such contexts, the only thing worse than prevarication (why don’t you look it up instead of playing another round of MW3?) is retaliation.
douche

Mother fricking This. Its not as if ESPN has NEVER pushed a story without all the facts only to be proven wrong. This happens at least once a week.
Why should we listen to someone who was on the team at the time? Why should we listen to all the former/current players who have said its being blown out of proportion?

I like PFT but dislike Florio in particular.
He uses the site to write editorials that he pretends are news
