The wife and I went there last night for drinks, appetizers, and desserts. We were pleasantly surprised. The bacon bloody Mary and bread pudding were great. They also serve brunch.

Yes, it is a great place that embraces the local influence with a nice eclectic menu. Reasonably priced too.
Go back for entrees. I recommend the duck leg confit.

Have you had the rabbit?

I have not had it. I was just asking. Sorry.

The rabbit was tasty, but not really enough of a portion :/
Hopefully Beausoleil improved on their portions since I went a pretty long while back. Nicer restaurants with high quality food always have smaller portions, but that was to a point where I was still hungry. For the price, that part was disappointing. The food was outstanding though.

Went today for brunch. Had the shredded rabbit with spaetzle, carrots, peas, goat cheese, seasonal mushrooms in a Dijon cream sauce. Really good, but I agree with the above poster that the portion was really small for $17; it was really like an appetizer-sized portion. Wife raced about the French onion soup. I plan on going back for their 50-cent chargrilled oysters...

When is that?

We love the place. The tuna entree is excellent and so was the shrimp and grits entree.

Like $13 to $25 probably. It's very casual and reasonable.
