So why was JJ invited to the combine over JL?

He showed major potential in the games he played in, moving the offense while throwing TD's and keeping ints low. And he played a large chunk of the season.
So why did he not receive a combine invite. It really can't be because JJ is viewed as a better pro QB than him. Can it?

Because people outside of Louisiana aren't racist.
I'd imagine neither will sniff a job as NFL QB. JJ was probably invited regarding his overall talent and skill set which is greater than JL as far as other positions are concerned.

Yes it can. He's a better prospect than Lee, which isn't saying much.

I wouldn't think either would make a pro team as a QB, but JJ might at another position.

And I agree with most of these posters. Neither will make a roster.
I thank them both for all of their contributions to LSU during their careers.
And I am VERY happy to move on from that chapter in LSU's history and think the future is bright with Mett at the helm.
