not good.

After two years of giving CPM a pass after winning the title,
after two years of recruiting,
after two years of weight lifting and training,
after two years of coaching,
after two years of experience,
after two years of leadership building,

this team should be locked and loaded with blood in their eyes. The buses should warming up outside with Omaha on their placards.....instead....we have a mediocre pitching staff after two aces, we have pathetic batting and general apathy from the team.

Call it what you want, you can be positive, I'm calling it out for what it is, a mediocre team who MIGHT make a regional. But damn sure not going to host and damn sure not going to Omaha. If this is what LSU bb has turned into, I'm out.

Are you serious? Mediocre pitching staff after two aces?

WTF? Did you forget how good Mccune played last year? This post is retarded. He was a freaking day 1 starter that is now day 3. And a damn good day 1 starter at that...

We probably have the best starters in the SEC maybe the country...

And we have some young guys that will get better as the season goes along...

Very, who are our quality pitchers after Gaus and Eades/McCune?

This is based on your analysis of one game in this season?

OP you are a goon. The only thing I can even slightly agree with you on is the recruiting. Even then, he has recruited some GREAT young pitchers. He has missed horribly on batters but hopefully he can turn that around.

Just because you don't know who any of our pitchers our other than our weekend starting rotation (which is one of the best in the country) doesn't mean our pitcher is mediocre in the slightest.

Gonna be a long year...if you cannot see that you are either willfully ignorant or just plain stupid. This team is last year's minus Mahtook.

PM not canning the hitting coach is gonna coast him his own job.

Unlike Trent Johnson, Paul's teams have shown they get better. What do you think about this team that shows otherwise? Bats in 7 games?
