im still waiting to see his official 40 time. Was it 4.50? Or was that unofficial?

That's what they were showing on the NFLN when he was running routes.

People have gotten desensitized to 40 times by the constant over embellishment of recruit information IMO.

Absolutely. Those inflated high school numbers don't help.

Yeah, I don't believe many people realize how few can actually run sub 4.5 40's. I can hand time myself at a sub 3.0 if I want but it still isn't accurate.

I think he's a high 2nd round pick given that he won't test incredibly high physically, and this year's WR class is freaking loaded. Also, while 4.5 for Randle isn't bad, I also don't like the Bowe comparison.

Blackmon, Wright, and Floyd are undoubtedly higher prospects than him. Then you put him in the Sanu, Jeffery, Hill group. Personally I think if anyone could motivate Jeffery you'd have a top 15 WR, but he's got more bust risk then the others simply due to questionable work ethics. Hill can absolutely fly and his 40 time will really help him.

Regardless, late first or early second is higher than I would have expected for Randle going into this season so congrats to him.

They video review the time. The 4.50 was unofficial. 4.55 is video reviewed. 4.55 is a good time.

RG3 with the 4.41 is insane.

Why is that insane? This is expected, he was a high school track star running the hurdles.

Read up on what? I don't need to read up on expectations for his combine numbers when his history on the track years ago spoke for itself.

yeah that seems disappointing. Mayock said Floyd may have solidified #2 WR status.

yeah i think Floyd is easily #2 after today. I think if you put him next to Blackmon he is just as good of a pass catcher and route runner. Excellent body control too.

the GA tech WR may push Reuben out of the 1st or near the very end. Curious to see how much he jumps.

I agree.

I dont think RR goes in the first. Not a slight on RR, just think there are three in front of him.

Hill would either catch or drop a wide open 60 yard touchdown every game.

I don't think RR goes before Wright or Floyd. I don't know about Hill

The guy the Jets drafted out of tOSU (Gholston?) a while back woke up many to the reality of the combine.

It is A tool for analysis, not THE tool.
