If LSU and Alabama both finish at 10-6 in the SEC, who gets the 4th seed?

Alabama has Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Auburn left.
MSU is Saturday and at Alabama.

Division record would be first tie breaker since they split head to head

..only if it meant Alabama automatically winning a NC with a win.

Which would be who? Too lazy to look it up.

No it would be the team that beat the team with the best SEC record getting the 4 seed.
Doesn't matter because Alabama won't go 10-6.

Actually I just remembered there are no divisions this year
So I dunno. Think Alabama would be better against the West since one of our losses was to USC

Alabama has the division tie breaker right now if I'm not mistaken

I keep forgetting that as well.

Its kinda silly since teams are still playing the division schedules

A. Won-lost results of head-to-head competition between the two teams.

seed, if necessary).
C. Coin flip by the Commissioner

Based on that criteria, if we both finish 10-6, it will be Alabama.
They would have swept Arkansas and we would have split with the razorbacks.

Sounds like Alabama would have the advantage in that scenario. Both lost to top three, Alabama would be 2-0 against MSU, LSU would be 1-1. Both would've beaten UT. Alabama would be 2-0 against Pigs, LSU 1-1. Both would be 2-0 against Ole Miss. Seems like Alabama would have it covered no matter who was 6th.

FTR, I'd be surprised if Alabama (and frankly LSU) won out. But I could think of far worse thingsfor Alabama then being the five seed and getting a seemingly easy win to pad the resume and then play LSU.

Haha don't knoe what I was thinking. Regardless, point stands that they would be the four.

No matter how the tie breaker goes, I hope our teams can get the 4-5 seeds
