I like the fact that he is saying respect the man who earned the nick name the first time. I hate the fact that "Pudge" is no longer Carlton Fisk and "Sugar Ray" is not for Robinson. While I'm at it will Chris Berman just go away all together.

Pujols stated his feelings a few years back about this. I read the SI article on Musial, in a dentist's office few years ago.
After Albert first met Stan Musial for the first time, he asked out of respect for a war hero, that they stop calling him by the nickname.
He also donated 'time, money, effort' for Stan for Stan
I'm glad to see that despite moving on respects a legend.
