all these great recruits that have panned out were recruited by the old staff this new staff hasn't pulled in the quality athletes that the old staff has and doesn't recruit as hard imo

Other than the departure of JoeRob (replaced by McGaughey) and Crowton replaced with Krags, has our staff changed in the last 3 years?

Haley did help recruit Brockers and Logan...and he certainly developed them.

In fact, you have literally no argument because he has basically been the lone coach for Brockers, Logan, Mingo and Montgomery. That is a impressive 3 years he has done here so far. I'm almost 100% sure he was involved in all of those guys getting recruited too. I know for sure he was a big reason Ego and Montgomery came here...

Haley is probably the most underrated guy on the staff. He is probably the second best recruiter, if not best on staff and develops talent.

bullshite he didn't recruit those guys im sorry they were already wrapped up from the previous staff, which wasn't hard becayse we just came off a champ

he did do a hell of a job developing them though. but he isn't a die hard recruiter but he does do a great job recriting talent

Umm, no they weren't. Brockers was the only one who committed early, around the time Haley got on the staff. Mingo didn't commit until late in the year but everyone knew he was going to LSU. Logan committed to LSU late in the year when he finally got a offer after dominating our camp. Montgomery was a NSD decision and was largely because of Haley. Ego was NSD and chose LSU mainly because of Haley. Both Montgomery/Ego were huge surprises. Ego will probably contribute a lot this upcoming season too and he is only a Sophomore. Not to mention Haley had to come in and close on Rasco...he is earning his money. You could argue he is the best recruiter on the staff. Him or Wilson.

Thought he was replaced by BillyG after'08? Again, I don't think our staff has changed that much over the past 3 years.

bullshite montgomery was because our last d.c. convinced him haley would treat him good. you have no clue what your talking about im sorry dude just stop. the only reason monty came here was because our previous d.c convinced him to come here. we always had logan on the backburner it didn't take nothing to get him here we missed on prospects to take him. ego im sorry i dont think he can put on the weight to contribute to dt position

well shite he wasn't allowed to take part of any of wr duties, another miles mistake instead of dismissing the coach miles loyalty is starting to hurt the prgram with jj mcarthy. everyone who had a brain could see j lee was our best option except miles im sorry i just can't take up for this guy anymore and can't wait until we get a smarter coach. just mo so those miles lovers dont hurt yourself over what i said its not that serious just don't think we have a shot with him. he plans the wrong way we got to throw the ball not big ten shite, i wish we would send his arse back there if he doesn't let met air it out. but i think he will because he will have hell to pay if he doesnt air it out and he realizes this

good night gentlemen i just had to air out some grieveances with him.

You kind of lost me on this one.

But with Les, he's a good coach. He can become a great coach if he'll learn his lessons from 1/9. I think there's pretty much a consensus that Les dropped the ball then (and FTR there were some obvious warning signs in the 2-3 games prior and IMO mothballing the O we ran for the first 8 weeks was just really bad coaching), but you have to give him credit for getting us as far as he did.

You're reasoning for heading over to the Rant. They would love your negativity over there. Why are you on an LSU board if you were cheering for them to lose? We were entitled to it? Yes because having the second best D in the NCAA and doing it in the toughest conference and having one of the best rushing attacks despite not having a QB entitles us to a National Championship. Kind of hard to run an offense when you have two QBs who are scared shitless out there and only have the courage to read one WR. And whose fault is that? You gonna try to pin that one on Krag to show our current staff is awful? You sir, are the idiot.

How has that top-notch recruiting done lately for Florida? Did they even finish third in the SEC East? What bowl did they play in? I'm glad that you base your opinion of recruits on their stars. That has seemed to work real well for Florida and Texas recently.

I have a feeling you were one of those on the Saban float at Mardi Gras.

why the hell are players wanting to go to texas after such terrible seasons and only looking worse. If LSU would have 2 6-6 seasons seems like everyone would want to jump ship off.

if you spend any time in texas or talk to people from texas, they do a great job of teaching state pride. they love their state.

louisiana, not so much.

You don't have to teach state pride in Louisiana. You are born with it.

This is true, but I feel like they try to cram it down their throats too much. Real state pride should be born with

If you are glad we lost the BCSCG because you hate Les Miles more than you love LSU you are a miserable person.

You can think Les is not a good coach or that Saban is building an impenetrable dynasty . But if you are happy we lost to Bama for a NC you are not an LSU fan.

You criticize people for being sunshine pumpers, but you are the exact opposite, seeing everything as doom and gloom is not better.

m a die-hard bengal fan but if shite doesn't change can anyone really say they enjoy this style of football? i hope the haters try and give it to me full force because deep down who wants to see us run, run, and run for 3rd and 7

So you hate watching Alabama as well then?

I hope you never come back, perhaps you should consider jumping off the Ms River Bridge.
