Don't care who you are. Arriving in a C-17 transport plan is pretty cool. My neighbors son plays 3rd base. I wanted to be at the game so bad.

Guess they won't have the normal Sunday flight limitations most visiting teams have? Depending on the weather, may need to get multiple games in Sunday at the box

As a retired AF E-8 who can see Falcon Stadium from my kitchen window, I hope the Falcons give the Tigers a good couple of games this weekend.
ETA: I've ridden on the C-17 a couple of times and it's a sweet ride for a cargo bird.

flown many space a flights on those things. Only airplane I can think of that you can play catch with a baseball while 30k feet in the air

I believe I read their coach is a retired Major who flew C-17s. I know the coach usually drives the bus and all, but this is a little overkill.

I work less than a mile from the airport..and we are in direct line with the runway this monster landed on...Helluva sight watching something that huge fly over storage tanks
