Thanks for your service and keep those 17s flying.
It's not a bad life, I am a Flying Crew Chief on them... Spend about 25 hours of my life a week flying on them... If I could upload a clip I actually took footage of an airdrop over Afghanistan last night haha

I'm an old fart who spent a lot of hours in the back of a 141 and up on top of a C5.

I listened to part of the interview with Jordy yesterday, and I could have sworn the coach of the Academy said they drive the bus on the C-17 and take it to away games. Is this true?

One would certainly fit. I would think the cost of local bus transport might be a little cheaper than the logistics of loading/transporting the team bus, however. Extra fuel, take-off/landing requirements, etc. But whether or not they brougth their bus, flying over on the c-17 is one cool mode of transport! And just think, on the way home Sunday they can make a detour and leave our ole pal Assad in Syria the "bombs" they aren't able to "unload" at the Box....

I'm sure it is... The C-17 can fit an 18 wheeler on the inside... If you send me your email I can send you a sweet pic I took of a cargo moving vehicle the other day... and an airdrop video... Its pretty versatile.

I believe I read their coach is a retired Major who flew C-17s. I know the coach usually drives the bus and all, but this is a little overkill.

Well you didn't drop it on me here in Western Afghanistan so I'm assuming somewhere very remote probably in the mountains of RC-(N).
